StageIt Show “Live from Rip City” May 26 2012
It’s almost time for the “Live from Rip City” Stageit show featuring Christian Kane with Steve Carlson on Saturday, May 26th at 5 pm PST.
If you haven’t gotten your ticket yet, you can purchase it at StageIt.com then be ready to watch the show from your very own living room.
Just as a reminder, five lucky ticket holders as well as the top five tippers will be selected to win autographed merchandise. So hurry and get your tickets before they are all gone.
STAGEIT INSTRUCTIONS
Stageit is an online venue that allows musicians to stream exclusive LIVE concerts to fans. The vibe is incredibly intimate often featuring performers playing from their homes, directly from their laptop.
Here’s how it works according to the Stageit folks: Go to http://www.stageit.com/christian_kane_and_steve_carlson/live_from_rip_city/9074, click signup to set up an account and then click the BUY button. It will offer you an opportunity to purchase credits (which Stageit calls “Notes” ; 10 Notes = $1.00). Notes allow you to pay for tickets to see shows and to tip performers during the show. Once you have Notes, they can be used for any show!
Here are some tips for viewers who have already purchased their ticket:
1.) Please ensure that all other browser windows and applications are closed (e.g. email, Facebook, G-chat, etc.). Additionally, please ensure that other computers are not using Hulu, Youtube, Netflix, etc., on your same internet connection while you’re streaming your show. Lastly, please ensure console devices and Tivo, Rolku , Xbox, and Slingbox are not currently using your connection.
2.) Please ensure you have an internet connection with a download speed of at least 3mbps. (go here to check, please select Begin Test www.speedtest.net)
3.) Please ensure you’re not using a mobile device and/or tablet to view the performance. There should have be a warning that appeared when you entered the show on your device.
4.) Please ensure you’re using the most current version of Adobe Flash Player You can download it here
5.) Please ensure you’re using the most current version of your favorite browser, we recommend Google Chrome. You can download it here
